How can I claim the Solar PV Panel Rebate?
Victoria Government is providing a rebate for solar panel PV system installation for eligible homeowners and rental properties in Victoria under the Solar Homes Program. Under this program, eligible Victorians will get a rebate of up to 50% of the purchase cost to install solar PV panels. The rebate is up to $1400, currently half the value of an average 4kW solar panel system. To further reduce installation costs, householders can also apply for an interest-free loan equivalent to your rebate amount which can be repaid over four years.
